Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have unveiled the opening movie for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, along with new details and screenshots showcasing the diverse regions of the Aladiss continent.

Before embarking on an adventure to explore the mysteries of Aladiss alongside the alchemist Yumia, players can immerse themselves in the game’s world through a fresh trailer. Additional artwork from renowned artist Benitama highlights the key members of the Aladiss Research team, adding more insight into the game’s characters and story.

In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, players follow Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research team to investigate the cataclysm that led to the fall of the once-great Aladissian continent. Led by Erhard and supported by the Order of Eustella, this organization is focused on studying the lost lands, consisting of researchers, adventurers, and mercenaries. Yumia and her companions will journey across the three distinct regions of Aladiss to uncover the secrets hidden within the ruins of the fallen Aladissian Empire.

Yumia’s adventure begins in the Ligneus region, where the Aladiss Research team established its first base, far from the capital. This region is filled with expansive plains and forests, home to research facilities abandoned by the ancient alchemists. Notable locations in this area include the Arbor Botanical Garden and the 8th Laboratory, both essential to Yumia’s investigation.

For players with a fascination for fungi, the Sivash region offers an intriguing environment known for its mushroom-like flora. Here, Yumia will meet the demihuman Welleks people and discover the Neru, a tribe of monster-like beings with human speech and unique mushroom-like umbrellas. Before advancing to the next region, players can visit the Preces Cathedral, a place of worship at the heart of the Welleks settlement, and explore the ruins of Hermea Academy, a school steeped in history.

The final region in Yumia’s journey is the industrial Auruma region, home to the remains of a once-thriving city. Amidst the ruins, players will find a tree-like metal structure, a commercial district with a station, and the Mana Transposing Furnace, once the hub for mana research in all of Aladiss. During their time here, the team will also encounter the Geni tribe, distinguished by their bird-like features, such as feathers and beaks.

For those who purchase either a physical or digital edition of the game within two weeks of its release, a special early purchase bonus will be available. This includes Yumia’s “Athlete of Memories” costume, Flammi’s “Floating Object of Memories” outfit, and the unique “Training Wrist Weight” equipment.
